加拿大研究人员以结肠癌干细胞为靶标，发现了一种可模拟病毒并触发抗癌免疫反应的机制。27日在线发表在《细胞》期刊上的此项研究成果，为理解抗肿瘤机制的重大转变指明了方向，同时也确定了对抗结肠癌干细胞的成药目标。

日本大阪大学教授菊池章率领的研究小组日前宣布，他们发现大肠和肺表面的细胞发生癌变与一种特有的蛋白质相关。动物实验证实，如果不让这种蛋白质发挥作用，肿瘤就会变小。这一发现将有助于开发新的治癌药物。位于消化器官和肺等器官表面的上皮细胞，对于消化吸收、交换氧等发挥着重要作用。但是上皮细胞容易接触来自体外的异物刺激，容易发生癌变。上皮细胞癌占到全部癌的80%至90%。
