新华网2006年4月1日报道 据此间媒体近日报道，德国杜塞尔多夫的医生最近成功地使用从风湿病患者血液中提取的抗炎外来体微粒治疗重度风湿性关节炎患者，取得了显著疗效。

科学时报2006年3月17日报道 在日前出版的英国《柳叶刀》杂志上，科学家建议，在治疗感染H5N1型禽流感的患者时，采取针对免疫系统紊乱的化学疗法，可能取得很好效果。据《新科学家》杂志报道，为了把这一建议尽快地传播给全世界的科学家，《柳叶刀》杂志在接到作者递交的论文后仅10天就将其发表。
